Participants engage in group discussions, games, cooperative learning strategies, enhanced computer application and coding skills; engaging with guest speakers from a variety of STEM sectors.

STEM Summer Enrichment Experience (SEE)The STEM Summer Enrichment Experience provides students with a structured virtual environment customized to enhance their academic performance in STEM courses and expose them to the various STEM Careers.
High school & eighth-grade students participate in a variety of hands-on, exciting and challenging activities that focus primarily on mentoring, academic, and career development. [July 6 - 10, 2020] $200 Chemistry: Thermodynamics Exploration & Biological Systems: Cardiovascular Exploration Participants will explore chemistry and biological systems, enhancing their academic foundation in science and increasing their interest and engagement. Each session is 90 minutes Monday—Thursday (10 a.m. CST/11 a.m. EST & 1 p.m. CST/2 p.m. EST). [July 13 - 16, 2020] $200 Mathematics Exploration & The Art of STEM Participants will explore how mathematics provides a framework for creation and maps the universe. STEM PathwaysThe STEM Pathways provides junior and senior level students, entering college, an environment to explore post-secondary opportunities. STEM Pathways provides the necessary advisement and resources to persist in a college or university environment. Careful attention on the assignment of STEM courses (mathematics and science courses) are a priority for the Pathway students. The participant will receive academic advising along with career mapping in order to support persistence and efficacy measures. This will help to retain and increase the number of students pursuing STEM ca- reers. Students will have the opportunity to participate in basic research with selected highly qualified, well trained STEM professionals.
